9 MONTH CHECK UP

Kegan had his 9 month check up on 10th. All is good and he is where he needs to be by this age. He is weighing 19 lbs. 9 ozs. and was 28 inches long. He is in the 40% in weight and height. Our little Kegan is growing way to fast and not wanting to stay little at all.

Well is has been a great 8 months so for with two. I did not say it was easy but lots of fun and laugther. Kegan is crawling everywhere and started pulling up this last week. He just amazes me how fast he learns. Trista has been a big part in helping him learn too. He loves her dearly and so do all of us. We love you Kegan man and look forward to all that you have to show us.

We had Kegan's 6th month check up yesterday and all is well. He is weighing 16 lbs. 15 ozs. and is 26 1/4 inches long. I can not believe he is already 6 months old. We love our sweet little boy and his big sister.

Trista had a heart appointment today and it was great news. She is doing great and going to stay on the same meds. Don't have to go back until May of 2010. Dr. even said that she could play some sports if she wanted too. Just need rest and lots of water if she is willing to do it. Keep the prayers coming. Thank you all for praying year round for her and please continue.

Today has been five years since Trista has had her heart surgery. How time flies when you are busy with little ones. She is doing great and is going to the heart doctor every six months now. Her next visit is in November. We also took Kegan in for some checking on somethings today and he is great too. He weighed 13 lbs. 3 ozs. and is in the 70% in weight. Growing little boy. We also took their pictures Sunday and they turned out so cute. Hope to put some on here soon.

Well I sit here thinking about our baby girl and cry about how much she has been through and thank God above for her. We took Kegan for his two month check up yesterday and all is well. He is weighing 12 lbs. and is 23 inches long. Looks great doctor said and even checked Trista out too. We took Kegan for his one week check up today and it went well. He weighs 8 lbs. 9 ozs. and had grow 1/2 an inch. He is now 20 inches long. Trista got to go to Critter Feast with Misty, Kenna, and Luke today and had a blast. She is very exhauted and worn out. Thank you so much Misty for letting Trista come and play with Kenna and taking her to see all the animals. We are going to have to have more kid time this summer Trista enjoyed it so much.

This was Trista's last day of PK-4 and they got to bring
a riding toy to school and had a blast out side. After being

TRISTA'S APPOINTMENT WITH HEART DOCTOR!

We went to the doctor yesterday for Trista's 6th month visit for her heart. The doctor said everything looks great. Her blood pressure, pulse, ekg, and echo all looked great. Dr. did change her meds some just so that we could take meds. twice a day instill of 3 times a day. We also put her on allergy meds. for now so that we can get her allergies cleared up while everything is blooming. She does not go back until November yeah.

We went to the OB today and everything is still going great. My fluid, weight, and BP are all great. Dr. said that he is weighing about 5 lbs. 5 ozs. and is growing and kicking good. I go back in two weeks then one and then he will be here. June 9th is the date set for his arrival. Continue to pray please for a wonderful and no trouble preg. thanks and we will keep you updated.

Sorry I have not blogged in a long time!!! We went to the high risk doctor on Wednesday the 29th of April and it was a great appointment. The doctor said he is right on track and moving like little boys do. He was weighing 4 lbs. 10 ozs. Dr. Atkinson released me and I have a doctors appointment on the 12th of May with my OB.

We went to the doctor on the 24th and had a great appointment. He is weighing in at about 2.5lbs and is right on track. Dr. Killeen said. If everything continues to go well and not have any problems that he will deliver between the 8th and 12th of June. I can't believe that we are getting so close and BIG! Keep us in your prayers and for this to continue to be a great preg. Thank you all so far for the prayers.

I want to first start out by saying thanks a million to Ronnie, Donna, Mimi, Adrian, and Brier for going down to the lake a couple of days early to clean our condo for us and getting it ready. I can not tell you in words how thankful we are for you doing this for us. We greatly appricate it and it looks wonderful.

It rained a little a few days before this and Russ was trying to get it wet to dig some dirt out. I think that it got a little more than just wet.

Trista said that she was checking on her fish in her pond.

BABY UPDATE

We went to the doctor yesterday and had a great appointment. He is still a he and growing very fast. At Dr. Atkinson they said that his heart looks great and no signs of heart defects. He is weighing in at 1lb. 4ozs and as of yesterday. He is right on track they said. The views that we got of his heart where so awesome. I have not seen a more perfect heart. Then we went to my OB Dr. Killeen and he said things looks good too. He pointed out some dates that we might get to deliver if everything contiunes to go good and nothing comes up with me or him that would put us at risk. He said that June 10 through the 15 are around the time that we will probably deliver. Knowing that we are going to have a c-section helps to get me and my things in line faster hopefully. Keep us in your prayers please for a healthy preg. and healthy baby.

3rd ANNUAL PEDI HEART REUNION.

I took Trista to the 3rd annual Pedi Heart Reunion this past weekend and we had a blast.

They had a lot of games for the kids to play and receive prizes. Trista even colored a piece of material

that they are going to guilt together to put in the Childerns Hosptial. We meet lots of new kids and parents that have had Heart surg. 2-14-09

Brier invited Trista to come over Sunday after dinner to ride and play a while while the weather was nice and sunny. Trista loved riding and playing outside. Thanks for inviting us we had fun and hope to do it again soon when the weather gets better.

We went to Dr. Flippin on Tuesday and had a great appointment. She looked and examined his heart and found all values and everything she was looking for. She said that he looks great. She even did a video of him while doing the echocaragraph. This has let a big relief off of my shoulders for sure. Please continue to pray for a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby. Trista is doing well and acting like a 4 year old does. Hope to have pictures soon and up.

The appointment with doctor Atkinson went very good. He thinks we are having a boy for sure and he is right on track. Dr. Atkinson examed his heart and brain for sure and said that he sees no sign of any problems. He is going to send me on the Trista's heart doctor on the 20th for a more in detailed exam of the heart for a better view. I will feel better after this exam just because I know this is what Dr. Flippin does for a living and I know she will look very hard for any problems. Keep us in your prayers and I will update soon.

UPDATE ON BABY!

We went to the doctor on the 23rd and everything is progressing like it should. The baby is going and looking good. The doctor looked a while and he thinks that we are having a boy. I keep second guessing him though. His is probably right though since he sees a lot more babies then I do. We are very excited and Trista is very excited too. She is ready for him to be here and I say no not yet. We need him to keep growing bigger and stronger. I go to Dr. Atkinson on the 6th for a full exam of the babies development and etc. Hopefully he can clear my mind of any problems if the baby has any and will let us know for sure what we are having. Either way we are very excited to have a little one on the way. Continue to pray for great health. I am working on how to put up an ultrasound picture but don't know yet.

Trista had a doctors appointment last Monday and everything went well. Dr. Flippin said that everything looks great with her heart and that we don't have to go back until June of 2009. She is a very wonderful lady. Trista told her that mommy was having a baby and she said that if I would come in around 18 weeks that she would do an ultrasound on the babies heart to check for heart defects. I thought that was so special of her to want to do that for us and for free too. I go back to the OB doctor for check up on baby on the 23 and are very excited because we might find out what we are having and have update for Christmas for everyone.

BABY UPDATE!

I had a doctors appointment today and everything looks great again. The heart was beating faster and looked good. The doc. said the I can stop my prog. meds. because my progesterone level looks good. I am going back again next Tuesday before the Thanksgiving hoilday so that it will make me feel better about getting off of the prog. meds. and that we know that my level will not drop below normal. We go again on December 2nd to watch baby on video and get to see more action. Continue to pray and may God Bless You.

Today Russ and I found out that we are having a baby. GOD is awesome! We are due in June and are just so excited. I knew that God had plans for us and he has shown us now that we just have to give it to him and he will take care of the rest. We have waited for this miracle to happen for a very long time. The baby is in the right place where God wants this little one and all blood work is great. Trista also went for her flu shot today and weighed 38 pounds and I asked them to weigh her again. It did show 38 on it and I was shocked. She is doing great and over excited about the baby. She said mom I am going to be a BIG sister now. She is so right. We ask that you just continue to prayer that everything keeps going well with the pregnant. and baby's health. Thank you all for the prayers and God Bless You.

Levelland Christian School has a Fish Fry every year in October and it is that time again this year. Each students parents had to make some item for it and Trista's class was assigned brownies. Trista's class had to make 4 dozen brownies. She was excited to get to help and them lick the bowl.

Trista's PK-4 class has show and tell every Thursday on a different letter and she was so excited about this day. We had went to the store and I let her pick out a pumpkin for the letter P that Thursday.

Trista has been doing great and still loves school. She gets up every morning and asks if it is her day to go to school. I am so glad that she is loving school and has met new friends. She loves Mrs. Sonya and all the staff at LCS. Trista has also started dance lessons again this year and is loving them too. Her first day of dance was Wednesday and she did not cry when I dropped her off. I think that school has helped with her independance and she is also a year older too. Well today is the first day of a whole new world for Trista. It has been very busy and exciting for her. She loved school and wants to go back. Her first words where when I came picked her up were can I come back tomorrow. She loved Mrs. Sonya and all the kids in her class. She did not even cry and neither did mom. I got a little teary eyed but pulled it off. Our little girl is growing up and wants to be a big girl. Trista is our joy and keeps on making our days even brighter. We love you Trista and hope that school is a wonderful advantage for you.
